A generous nose with tightly interwoven aromas of flambéed banana, rock candy sugar, nutmeg, as well as oaky wood, almond, and eaux-de-vie fruits such as pear.
Fairly full-bodied, with subtle, well-integrated oak that adds length, and a hint of acidity on the finish that brings freshness.
The slightly tannic notes from the nose come through, with roasted notes (mocha) and more pronounced macerated fruits (prune, almond).
